Edward Onoja’s direction, our direction – APC Excos in Olamaboro vow

The members of Executive of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Olamaboro Local Government Area say they have resolved to follow the footsteps of the Chief of Staff to Kogi State Governor, Hon Edward Onoja in August 29th party primaries to select Governorship candidate for the November governorship poll.

They made the resolve today in Ogugu when Edward Onoja hosted them specially for Sallah as part of his usual celebration of events with his people.

Speaking, the party Chairman in the area, Alhaji Ibrahim Abu said the executive members have no reason to allow any other character to mislead them with misinformation and deceit havent experienced unquantifiable love from Governor Yahaya Bello.

He said the Local Government and the state have witnessed unimaginable improvements in all sectors, noting that they have everything to lose with nothing to gain if they fail to follow the footsteps of the Chief of Staff.

“Our Local Government Area and the APC as a party have gained more than we can imagine and we cannot afford to gamble our treasures with ordinary potentials. The level of development we have witnessed here is unprecedented and we can’t toy with our future. Edward Onoja is our leader whose direction we are following.”

Speaking, Hon Onoja urged the party faithful to remain steadfast in their support for the party as Governor Bello has shown uncommon commitment to developing all parts of the state.

He said Olamaboro has never had it so good in the history of the state as it is witnessing socioeconomic, infrastructural and human capacity development exponentially, a feat they can’t afford to let slip.

Hon Onoja who urged the party executives to reflect on where the area was in terms of development in all sectors before the enthronement of Governor Bello, assured them of the determination of the present administration to ensure equitable distribution of the state resources.

On his part, the administrator of the LGA, Hon Nikodemus Adejoh assured the party executives of the commitment of the administration at both state and Local Government to continue to carry out projects that would improve their lives.

He urged them to continue to support the candidature of Governor Yahaya Bello as a demonstration of their gratitude to the commitment of government to their welfare.
