Engr Bashir Gegu thanks Gov Bello for appointing Arc. Usman as Director in CUSTECH »

The Kogi State Commissioner for Solid Mineral and Natural Resources, Engr Abubakar Bashir Gegu has expressed gratitude to Governor Yahaya Bello over the appointment of Architect Muhammed Ahmed Usman as the Director of Physical Planning at the Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara.

The Commissioner made this remark in a press statement he signed and made available to newsmen on Friday in Lokoja.

Engr Bashir Gegu, who was filled with praise for the Governor said for the umpteenth time, he has shown uncommon love for the area, in his appointment and distribution of infrastructure.

According to the Commissioner, the area has never had it so good since the creation of Kogi State, adding that his detribalised nature and empathy for the common man has put him head and shoulders above his peers.

The Commissioner, who assured the Governor that Architect Usman is an excellent choice and would bring his experience to bear in the discharge of his duties, assured the government that the administration would not regret its decision to appoint an Kogi LGA person for the post.

He prayed Almighty Allah to elevate the Governor to national assignment, noting that the state has already been transformed under five years of current administration.

Engr Bashir Gegu urged the appointee to be loyal and committed to the objectives of government which established the institution, adding that it was only through that that the Governor would be convinced to do more.
