2023: We’ll repeat our winning streak, defeat ADC, PDP – Mopamuro APC boasts
Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Mopamuro local government area of Kogi state has assured that the party will sweep the 2023 general election with a landslide in the local government as it did in previous elections.
This assurances was given at the Mopamuro LGA APC stakeholders meeting held yesterday.
Speaking to journalists after the meeting, the state Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Kingsley Fanwo said the meeting was to brainstorm and fashion out a ways of ensuring that the APC come out triumphant in the 2023 general election.
Fanwo said the meeting reconciled all aggrieved members of the party and passed a vote of confidence in the governor, thereby forming a more united and formidable front for the elections.
“By the grace of God, our party is stronger, all our candidates from state assembly, national assembly and our presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu will win their election in Mopamuro local government area.” he said.
Fanwo cautioned opposition parties especially the ADC and PDP not to raise their hopes high, adding that Kogi APC under the leadership of governor Yahaya Bello will repeat its 2019 landslide victory in the coming elections.
Stakeholders at the meeting included the local government chairman, house of assembly member representing Mopamuro constituency, the LG party chairman, SSA to the governor on public relations, chairmen and members of commissions and boards, candidates of the party, LG party executives amongst others.
