Kogi state COS Plays host to members of NASRDA
The Chief of Staff, to the Governor of Kogi State, Pharm. Abdulkareem Moh’d Jamiu Asuku received a delegation from the Centre for Atmospheric Research (CAR), an autonomous activity centre of the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA).
The agency which is located within the campus of the Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU), Anyigba, has been operating for more than nine years as a scientific and research centre.
The Director/Chief Executive of NASRDA, Professor Babatunde Rabiu while speaking at the meeting, commended the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for providing an enabling environment free of security challenges and other biases, for them to have worked for the past 9years. He appreciated the Governor for his giant strides in areas of education, infrastructure, health as well as being a patron of science& technology.
He said the centre is ready and requesting for partnerships with appropriate organs of the government to further harness the potentials of science and technology, as they have scientific results that can advance revenue drives in the state.
Pharm. Abdulkareem Asuku, appreciated them for coming, says Governor Yahaya Bello is always open to partnership with agencies that are willing to work together towards the growth of Kogi State.
