SWS calls on women to vote credible candidates, cautions youths to avoid violence
Less than forty-eight hours to the commencement of the general elections, the Standup for Women Society has again called on both the old and young to go all out to vote for credible candidates who will lead Nigeria to an enviable height through transformations of various sectors.
The international president of the Society, Barrister Deborah Ijadele-Adetona who spoke through the Association’s National Public Relations Officer , Liberator Billie Nwogu called on security agents to safeguard women in particular who she said always come out in their large numbers to exercise their franchise.
Adetona called on politicians to play the game by the rule saying that no amount of money can buy a life that is wasted and Cautioned youths not to allow themselves to be used to disrupt the elections proceeding in whatever form.
She charged them to be good ambassadors for peace and one Nigeria praying that a leader who will lead to desired greatness emerge.
