New Acting chairperson of Ibaji LGC assures of quality service delivery
The acting chairperson of Ibaji local government council, Hon Obidigwe Anthonia has described her elevation as an act of God with a promise to serve with diligence.
She made the remark during the official handing and taking over at Onyedega, the headquarter of Ibaji LGA of kogi state.
Mrs Anthonia said her administration would focus on human and infrastructural development in the area, stressing that the people of the area are committed to the present administration of governor Yahaya Bello.
The acting chairman noted that she was impressed with the outcome of the just concluded House of Assembly election, commending the people of the area for standing for the ruling party despite the efforts of some political sabotage perpetrated by some members of the APC.
Hon Obidigwe Anthonia maintained that the government of Alhaji Yahaya Bello rewards hard work and urged the people of the area to remain resolute in support of the government, assuring of them the presence of government in the area.
She enjoined the party faithful to demonstrate strong passion for the forthcoming governorship party primary, warning that no member should derail from the party template.
In a brief speech, the House of Assembly member-elect, Hon Comfort Nwuchola praised governor Yahaya Bello for the elevation of Hon Obidigwe Anthonia.
She thanked the people of the area for voting for her, saying her victory is for the growth and development of the area.
She pointed out that more of government attention will be given priority in the area and assured them of quality representation.
