Governor Bello Welcomes New Heads of Security Agencies in Kogi State
Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State warmly received the newly appointed heads of security agencies in the state at his office in Lugard House on Thursday.
During the reception, Governor Bello extended his congratulations to the officers on their recent promotions and acknowledged their dedication to ensuring the safety and well-being of the Nigerian people. He reassured them of his administration’s unwavering commitment, synergy, and support in the discharge of their duties to keep the state safe.
Brigadier General Esang Kpaumontia, the new Brigade Commander of the 12th Brigade, Nigerian Army, spoke on behalf of the officers and commended Governor Bello for his resolute efforts in combating criminal elements within the state. He also lauded the governor’s consistent support for the security agencies in Kogi over the years and assured him of their partnership in ensuring that Kogi remains the safest state in Nigeria.
The distinguished heads of the security agencies include Brigadier General Esang Kpaumontia, AIG Babatunde Ishola, who assumes the role of AIG Zone 8, and Commodore Ugo Ajulu, the Commander of NNS LUGARD in Lokoja. The State Security Adviser, Commander Jerry Omodara (Rtd), led the security officers to meet the governor.
