Phase 1 Of Rep. Halims’ Road Projects Receives Wide Commendation As Lawmaker Promises Swift Phase 2, 3

….Says, “I am happy to be the source of the impacts everywhere”

The Deputy Majority Leader of the House of Representatives and Member Representing Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro Federal Constituency of Kogi State, Rt. Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims has turned the ancient city of Ankpa agog amidst commendations as a multiplier effect of the ongoing massive road projects facilitated by Him.

The ongoing road projects which are the first phase of the Federal Lawmaker’s drive to open new layouts, reconstruct and rehabilitate with standard drainages the existing but damaged link roads across Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro Local Government areas has been widely commended due to the pace and quality of work being done by the contractors.

Apart from roads, the high ranking Member of the National Assembly has facilitated well over two billion naira worth of projects covering ICT centres, classroom blocks, agricultural development, youth women and people living with disabilities’ empowerment and scientific equipments to his constituency in the 9th National Assembly.

Areas touched so far in Ankpa as part of the phase one are the popular Ejeh road, Mission street, Hospital road to White House, Ojede to the Anyigba express byepass Enugu road, Angwa to Ogodo as well as the Angwa-YMC-Liberia road.

The phase two and three which plans have been perfected to commence in the first quarter of the 2024 will cover about one hundred kilometres in Olamaboro and Omala Local Government areas of Kogi State.

While inaugurating the road construction projects penultimate week at Ankpa, Rep. Halims said in addition to his numerous infrastructure developmental intents, he is committed to the welfare and well-being of the people of his constituency through the facilitation of jobs and direct empowerment programs.

He thanked the people of the area for their consistent support, promising to always do things that would improve their lot. “You can all feel our impact everywhere you go in the land. I am happy to be the source of these impacts because that is what we promised and we will continue to do more,” the Deputy Majority Leader said.
