Christmas: CAAM-G celebrates with Christians »

The Comrade Abdullahi Adamu Mandate Group (CAAM-G) has felicitated Christian faithful in Lokoja Local Government Area on the occasion of 2023 Christmas celebration.

CAAM-G stated this in a statement signed by its Head of Media and Publicity, Yabagi Mohammed.

According to the statement, the principal of the group, Comrade Abdullahi Adamu is a man that believes in the oneness of the people of Lokoja Local Government, irrespective of their religious persuasion and called on the people to continue to maintain peace and redouble their prayers for the area to ensure development.

In the words of the Comrade Abdullahi Adamu, “We have no option than to continue to maintain the peaceful nature of our people. We have been known to be a model society to other parts of Kogi State and Nigeria at large. We have lived in peace and united in all we do and we must sustain it for the good of Lokoja Local Government.

“This Christmas, we should embrace peace, be prayerful, be united, generous, cooperative and ensure those of our friends and family members who have come home to celebrate the Yuletide season with us enjoy their stay,” he stated.

The group further expressed hope that Lokoja Local Government Area would be greater under the leadership of Comrade Abdullahi Adamu if given the opportunity to lead as the next council chairman, and thanked the political stakeholders for their encouraging body language which shows their trust in his ability.

While thanking Governor Yahaya Bello for his continued developmental strides in the state since the last eight years, the group expressed hope that the incoming administration of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo would sustain the tempo and ensure happier Christmas celebration and more development for the state.

It also mentioned the quality leadership styles of the members of the National and State legislatures from Lokoja Local Government for their people – centered policies, promised to continue to support them while further noting that CAAM-G is prepared to work closely with them to ensure the development of the area.
