Senator Ohere Splashes 5 Million Naira on Ramadan Feast to Kogites, Promises To Do More »

Senator Abubakar Ohere has expended 5 million naira as Ramadan package to the people of Kogi state.

Senator Ohere in his usual magnanimity on Monday flag-off 5 million Naira cash disbursement to the online community via WhatsApp.

About six hundred beneficiaries, which cut across eleven whatsapp groups, were covered in the first phase of the exercise on Monday.

Senator Ohere, who is very much concerned with the current hardship people are battling with, especially at this very critical moment of the year, decided to bring succour to the people.

“The administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has been doing a lot to reach out to a larger number of people, and efforts will be intensified to bring succour to all and sundry by the state government” Sen. Ohere said

“The state government are not unmindful of the yearnings of our people. It is, therefore, against this backdrop that I deemed it fit to intervene in order to bring succour to the poor and the less privileged ones”, he explained.

“I will continue to assist our people with whatever comes my way to cushion the biting economic conditions which greatly affect the poor, less privileged and other vulnerable groups.” He said.
