Kogi Government Celebrates Stella Okotete at 41, Describes Her as a ‘National Treasure’ »

The Kogi State Government has extended warm birthday wishes to Mrs. Stella Okotete, Executive Director of Business Development at the Nigerian Export-Import Bank (NEXIM), as she marks her 41st birthday today.

In a statement signed and made available to newsmen by the Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Kingsley Fanwo, the State Government described Mrs. Okotete as a distinguished banker, political leader, and digital innovation champion whose contributions continue to shape Nigeria’s economic and technological landscape.

Fanwo quoted the Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, as describing Mrs. Okotete as “an extraordinary gift to the nation and an incredible asset for national growth and unity.”

The statement highlighted her stellar track record in the banking sector, her leadership role as a former National Woman Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and her advocacy for digital transformation to drive national development.

“Mrs. Okotete has remained a shining example of visionary leadership, excellence, and patriotic service. Her impact at NEXIM Bank and her advocacy for leveraging technology to power economic progress have earned her a rightful place among Nigeria’s most respected reform-minded leaders,” the statement read.

Governor Ododo, on behalf of the government and people of Kogi State, wished the celebrant a joyful birthday and continued success in her service to the nation.
