Kogi Governor’s Chief of Staff, Ali Bello, Celebrates Nigeria at 65

The Chief of Staff to the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ali Bello, has joined millions of Nigerians in celebrating the country’s 65th Independence Anniversary, describing Nigeria as a land of hope, courage, and resilience.
In his Independence Day message, Bello said the day marks a moment of reflection on the sacrifices of Nigeria’s founding fathers, who dreamt of a sovereign nation built on unity, justice, and freedom.
“Sixty-five years ago, our founding fathers dreamt of a sovereign nation built on unity, justice, and freedom. Today, while we acknowledge the challenges that confront us, we also celebrate the strength of our people, the richness of our diversity, and the endless possibilities that lie ahead for our beloved country,” he stated.
The Chief of Staff commended the leadership of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, noting that his commitment to good governance, development, and the welfare of the people of Kogi State reflects the ideals of the independence struggle.
“As we hoist our green-and-white flag today, let us remember that independence is not just a gift of history, but a responsibility of every citizen. We must continue to strengthen the bonds of unity, shun division, and rededicate ourselves to building a Nigeria that fulfills the dreams of our heroes past,” Bello added.
He prayed that the anniversary would renew Nigerians’ faith in the country and called for unity, peace, and progress as the nation moves forward.
