Kogi Youths March in Support of Tinubu, Ododo »

Youths and supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Olamaboro Local Government Area of Kogi State have staged a solidarity march in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and the party’s candidates ahead of future elections.

The march, organised by the Kogi State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Aridaojo Monday Anyebe, was held in his Olamaboro Local Government Area and attracted a large turnout of APC supporters, including youths, party leaders and other stakeholders.

Participants moved through the streets chanting solidarity songs and displaying posters in support of President Tinubu, Governor Ododo and the APC.

Speaking at the event, Anyebe said the mobilisation was designed to demonstrate to the wider public that Olamaboro remained firmly behind the APC and its leadership.

According to him, the massive turnout was a reflection of the support for the party at the grassroots and the confidence of residents in the leadership of President Tinubu and Governor Ododo.

The Commissioner also commended Governor Ododo and the APC leadership for the emergence of Ameh Erico as the party’s candidate for the Kogi East Senatorial District.

He described the development as an indication of the party’s commitment to strengthening its political structure in the district.

Anyebe assured the APC leadership that Olamaboro would deliver massive votes for the party and all its candidates, urging supporters to remain united and committed to the party.

Representing Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo at the rally, the Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Aliyu Yusuf, conveyed the administration’s appreciation to the people of Olamaboro for their continued support for the APC.

He said the large turnout demonstrated the strength of the party at the grassroots and urged the people to sustain their support for the administration’s programmes and policies.

Yusuf also called on the youths to remain united and actively participate in the political process, assuring them of the government’s continued attention to issues affecting young people and the development of the state.

He commended Hon. Monday Anyebe for mobilizing the youths and other stakeholders for the peaceful march, describing the exercise as an indication of the commitment of the people of Olamaboro to the APC.

The Speaker urged the party supporters to maintain the unity demonstrated during the mobilization and work together towards delivering victory for the APC and its candidates in subsequent elections.

The Deputy Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Comfort Egwuaba, who represented the Deputy Governor, also addressed the gathering and commended the organizers and participants for the peaceful mobilization.

She stressed the importance of youth and women participation in governance and the political process.

The Kogi State APC Youth Leader, Hon. Buhari Lakwaja, commended the youths for their turnout and reaffirmed the commitment of the party’s youth wing to the leadership of President Tinubu and Governor Ododo.

Stakeholders from Olamaboro Local Government Area also praised Governor Ododo for appointing Anyebe as a Commissioner, describing him as the youngest commissioner from the area.

They said the appointment had provided greater representation for young people in the state administration and urged the commissioner to continue to justify the confidence reposed in him.

The stakeholders also called on APC supporters in Olamaboro to sustain their unity and grassroots mobilisation ahead of future elections.

The event ended with participants reaffirming their support for the APC, President Tinubu and Governor Ododo, while pledging to mobilize support for the party’s candidates.
