Hon. Danga Reaffirms Commitment to Persons with Disabilities in Adavi/Okehi
The Member representing Adavi/Okehi Constituency, Hon. Abdulmaleek Abdulraheem Danga, has reaffirmed his commitment to improving the welfare of persons living with disabilities, as well as former women leaders, across the constituency through sustained empowerment programmes.
Hon. Danga stated that his intervention is aimed at easing the challenges faced by physically challenged persons and supporting them to live more dignified and productive lives. He stressed that disability does not diminish ability, noting that many persons living with disabilities are endowed with valuable skills, talents and potentials that can contribute meaningfully to society.


The lawmaker condemned all forms of discrimination against persons with disabilities and emphasized the need for inclusive policies that promote equal opportunities for all citizens. He also acknowledged the positive contributions of physically challenged persons to the development of Kogi State.
Hon. Danga further urged beneficiaries to take advantage of existing government poverty alleviation and empowerment programmes, assuring them of his continued support in advancing initiatives that will enhance their socio-economic well-being.
