Ali Bello Congratulates Tinubu, Governor Ododo, Nigerians on Democracy Day
The Chief of Staff to the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ali Bello, has felicitated with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, and Nigerians on the occasion of the 2026 Democracy Day celebration, describing June 12 as a defining moment in the nation’s democratic journey.
In a message issued to commemorate the national event, Ali Bello said Democracy Day serves as a reminder of the resilience, courage, and unwavering commitment of Nigerians to democratic governance and the rule of law.
He noted that June 12 remains a symbol of the sacrifices made by patriotic citizens who fought for the restoration and sustenance of democracy in Nigeria, urging Nigerians to uphold the ideals of justice, accountability, and national unity.
The Chief of Staff commended the leadership of President Tinubu for his commitment to advancing democratic governance and national development, while also praising Governor Ododo for implementing people-oriented policies aimed at improving the welfare of Kogi residents.
According to him, the administration of Governor Ododo has continued to demonstrate purposeful leadership through initiatives that promote sustainable development and inclusive governance across the state.
Ali Bello called on Nigerians, particularly the people of Kogi State, to remain committed to supporting democratic institutions, fostering peaceful coexistence, and contributing meaningfully to the progress of their communities and the nation at large.
