KGIRS Chairman Commends Prof. Ibrahim’s Endowment for Supporting Over 400 Students
The Executive Chairman of the Kogi State Internal Revenue Service (KGIRS), Dr Sule Salihu Enehe, has commended the educational endowment programme of the Provost of Kogi State College of Education (Technical), Mopa, Prof. Mohammed Kabir Ibrahim, for supporting more than 400 students to pursue higher education.
Enehe gave the commendation during a courtesy visit by the KGIRS management to the college on Tuesday as part of the Service’s ongoing tax reform sensitisation and compliance campaign.
The KGIRS chairman said the endowment had helped take over 400 students off the streets by creating opportunities for them to access higher education.

He called on well-meaning individuals, organisations and philanthropists to support the initiative by sponsoring more students.
Enehe also commended the developmental strides recorded by the college under Ibrahim’s leadership, urging stakeholders to support initiatives contributing to the advancement of education.
The visit, according to the Service, was also aimed at strengthening engagement with stakeholders and improving compliance with Kogi State’s tax laws as part of the ongoing tax reform programme.
Responding, Ibrahim appreciated Enehe and his team for visiting the institution and sensitising its management on the tax reform initiative.
The Provost particularly thanked the KGIRS chairman for recognising the developmental progress recorded by the college, describing the engagement as an opportunity to deepen cooperation between the institution and the revenue service.
Ibrahim assured the KGIRS management that the college would work closely with the Service to ensure full compliance with its tax obligations and facilitate the smooth implementation of the state’s tax reform programme.
