Asuku Endorses Governor Ododo All Campus Games 2026 »

The former Chief of Staff to former Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, Hon. Abdulkareem Jamiu Asuku, has endorsed the Governor Ododo All Campus Games 2026, describing the initiative as a commendable platform for promoting youth development, unity and sporting excellence among students across the state.

Asuku gave the endorsement on Tuesday in Abuja when he received members of the organising committee of the Governor Ododo All Campus Games 2026.

The former Chief of Staff expressed support for the initiative and commended the organisers for coming up with a programme designed to bring students from tertiary institutions across Kogi State together through sports.

He noted that sporting activities remain an important avenue for discovering and nurturing young talents, while also promoting discipline, teamwork, healthy competition and peaceful coexistence among young people.

Asuku encouraged the organising committee to remain committed to the objectives of the games and ensure that the competition provides a credible platform for students with sporting talents to showcase their abilities.

He further pledged his support for the success of the 2026 edition, stressing the importance of initiatives that positively engage young people and create opportunities for them to develop their talents.

The Governor Ododo All Campus Games is being organised as a statewide collegiate sporting event aimed at fostering unity among students, promoting healthy competition and providing an avenue for the discovery of emerging sporting talents in Kogi State.
