Dr Mahmoud Bala Alfa Announces Death of Father, Alhaji Mohammed Alfa
Dr Mahmoud Bala Alfa, Ph.D., has announced the death of his father, Alhaji Mohammed Alfa, on behalf of the Alfa family.
In a statement, Dr Alfa said his father passed away peacefully, leaving behind family members, relatives, friends and members of the community mourning his death.
He described the deceased as a father and patriarch whose life touched many people, adding that the loss marked a deeply painful moment for the family.
“While the family grieves, they are also comforted by the knowledge that life and death are in the hands of Allah,” the statement said.
The family also drew comfort from the Qur’anic injunction: “Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return,” as contained in Qur’an 2:156.
Dr Alfa expressed appreciation to family members, friends, associates, political colleagues and well-wishers for the prayers, messages of sympathy and support extended to the family following the death.
He appealed to those mourning with the family to remember Alhaji Mohammed Alfa in their prayers and ask Allah to forgive his shortcomings, accept his good deeds and grant him Al-Jannatul Firdaus.
The family also prayed for strength, comfort and patience for everyone affected by the loss.
“May Allah have mercy on the soul of Alhaji Mohammed Alfa, forgive him, illuminate and widen his grave, and grant him eternal rest in Al-Jannatul Firdaus,” the statement added.
