Shettima Visits Mahmoud Bala Alfa to Condole with Family

Vice President Kashim Shettima, GCON, has paid a condolence visit to Dr. Mahmoud Bala Alfa and his family following the death of his father, Alhaji Mohammed Alfa.
Shettima visited the family to personally express his sympathy and share in their grief over the loss of their patriarch.
During the visit, the Vice President offered prayers for the deceased, asking Almighty Allah to forgive his sins, have mercy on him and grant him eternal rest in Al-Jannah Firdaus.
He also prayed for Dr. Mahmoud Bala Alfa, his family and other loved ones, asking Allah to grant them patience, strength and faith to cope with the loss.
The Vice President reminded the family of the Qur’anic injunction, “Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un,” meaning, “Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him shall we return.”
The verse is contained in Qur’an 2:156.
Shettima also reminded the family that death is a reality that awaits every human being and encouraged them to remain steadfast in their faith while praying for the soul of their departed father.
The condolence visit was received by Dr. Mahmoud Bala Alfa and members of his family, who expressed appreciation to the Vice President for personally visiting them during their period of mourning.
The family also thanked Shettima for his prayers, kind words and support at what they described as a difficult moment.
The family continues to appreciate leaders, friends, associates and well-wishers who have stood with them since the passing of Alhaji Mohammed Alfa.
They prayed that Almighty Allah forgive the deceased, admit him into Al-Jannah Firdaus and grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
