Anyebe Felicitates with Gegu at Birthday, Hails Humanitarian Gestur »

Kogi State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Honourable Aridaojo Monday Anyebe (HAMA), has felicitated with the Commissioner for Solid Minerals, Engr. Abubakar Bashir Gegu, on the occasion of his birthday.

Anyebe, in a congratulatory message, described Gegu as a committed public servant whose contributions to the development of Kogi State extend beyond his official responsibilities.

The Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development commended Gegu for his consistent humanitarian gestures and community development initiatives, noting that his interventions have continued to touch lives and provide meaningful support to people within and beyond his immediate community.

He praised Gegu for demonstrating that public service can be used as a platform for improving the wellbeing of citizens, particularly through initiatives that respond to the needs of communities and create opportunities for young people.

Anyebe also lauded the Solid Minerals Commissioner for his commitment to the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, saying Gegu has remained dedicated to translating the administration’s policies and development agenda into tangible outcomes.

According to him, Gegu’s contributions reflect the collective responsibility of members of the Governor Ododo-led administration to ensure that government programmes and policies have visible impact on the people.

He particularly commended the celebrant’s support for youth empowerment and community-oriented development, describing such efforts as important contributions to the administration’s broader commitment to engaging young people, discovering opportunities and improving livelihoods across the state.

Anyebe said the birthday provides an opportunity to acknowledge Gegu’s service, sacrifices and commitment to the people of Kogi State, while expressing confidence that he would continue to contribute positively to the state’s development.

He prayed Allah to grant the Commissioner for Solid Minerals longer life, good health, wisdom and greater capacity to serve humanity and contribute to the progress of Kogi State.
