Appeal Court Victory: Comrade Abdullahi Adamu Mandate Group Congratulates Aguye
Comrade Abdullahi Adamu Mandate Group (CAAM-G), a support organisation for Hon Abdullahi Adamu’s Lokoja Local Government chairmanship aspiration has congratulated the member representing Lokoja/Kogi (Kotonkarfe) Federal Constituency on his victory at the Appeal Court on Thursday.
In a statement signed by the group and made available to the media, CAAM-G said the victory was a vindication of the decision of the people of the federal constituency to back a good politician who is ready to serve his people.
Chairman of the group, Comrade Iliyasu Zakari particularly mentioned that with the judicial hurdles over, it was now time for the legislator to settle down to provide needed representation for his people, noriing that it would have been a travesty of what it should be had the decisions of the courts gone contrary to how it panned out.
According to the group, CAAM-G is particularly relieved because of the personal efforts, dedication, investments and role of its principal, Comrade Abdullahi Adamu in the matter, and congratulated him for not only working to ensure the victory of Hon Aguye as the Director General of his campaign, but also as a committed member of the APC who has worked above and beyond to ensure victory for the party at all times.
While urging Hon Aguye to now focus solely on providing good representation for the constituency, CAAM-G promised to always be available to volunteer in any way possible to ensure that his grassroots oriented programmes impact people’s lives positively.
It also used the occasion to congratulate the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lokoja Local Government and its supporters for the victory, adding that unlike what had transpired in the past, their investment in Hon Aguye was not snatched away by the courts this time.
