Armed Forces Day: Lokoja Local Government Chairman Salutes Sacrifice of Fallen Heroes
The Executive Chairman of Lokoja Local Government Area, Comrade Abdullahi Adamu has hailed the selfless sacrifice of the gallant men and women who dedicated their lives to protecting our nation’s sovereignty, peace, and unity.
While responding to newsmen at the event, the Council Chairman stated that the 2025 Armed Forces Rememberance Day is another solemn reminder of the courage and patriotism demonstrated by members of our Armed Forces. Their bravery and dedication to duty ensured the stability and freedom we enjoy today.
“As we remember those who paid the ultimate price, let us also extend our gratitude and support to the veterans and their families. They continue to inspire us with their resilience and strength.”
He urged the general public to reflect on the values of service, sacrifice, and unity that these heroes exemplified.
“In our capacity as a Local Government, we reaffirm our commitment to fostering peace, unity, and development within our communities.” He added.
May their sacrifices never be in vain, and may their legacy of heroes past and present continue to inspire us to build a stronger, more united, and prosperous nation.
