Kogi State Deputy Governor, Chief Edward Onoja has advised couples to avoid third party in their marriages in order to have an enduring union.

Chief Onoja gave the advice in a speech delivered by his Chief Press Secretary, Promise Emmanuel who represented him on Saturday at the wedding reception of Mr Matthew Tunji Avabee Jnr and her bride, former Miss Teddy Ibrahim in Okene.

The Deputy Governor enjoined the newly-wed to turn to God who is the architect of marriages always, communicate often to resolve disputes without the interference of third party.

His speech:

“Dear Mathew and Tessy,

Today as you walk the glorious path of marriage, I welcome you into prosperity and growth. It is written in the good books that a man shall leave his father and mother to cling unto his wife as they become one.

May God almighty make you one forever.

My counsel is simple: NEVER involve third parties in the affairs of your home. In love, togetherness and unity, communicate between each other to resolve any disputes.

Finally, always turn to God almighty who I believe is the architect of your union.

May all the blessings that kicks in as scriptures says in Proverbs about any Man who findeth a wife find maximum manifestation in your lives from today.

Welcome to Marriage bliss and it’s contours, let Love always lead,” he concluded.
