Fanwo Congratulates Babatunde Olusegun On Okeagi Chieftaincy Title
The Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Femi Fanwo, has congratulated Chief Babatunde Olusegun Moses, popularly known as Chief Bablo, as he is honored with the traditional title as the Otunba of Okeagi Land.
Fanwo, in a congratulatory message released on Sunday, described the chieftaincy elevation as recognition of Babatunde’s leadership qualities, selflessness and commitment to the development of his people.
According to the Commissioner, the decision by Okeagi Kingdom to confer the traditional title on Babatunde reflects the community’s recognition of his character, vision and contributions.
He urged the new Otunba to sustain the values that earned him the honour and continue to deploy his leadership experience to the benefit of his people.
Fanwo expressed confidence that Babatunde’s wisdom, with God’s guidance, would contribute to greater unity, peace and development in Okeagi Land.
“As you take on the noble responsibilities and mantle of traditional leadership, we are fully confident that your wisdom will guide your people toward greater unity, peace and development,” he stated.
The Commissioner described the title as a significant milestone in Babatunde’s life and wished him a long, peaceful and prosperous reign.
He also prayed that Babatunde’s tenure as Otunba of Okeagi would bring blessings to the community and all those associated with him.
