Covid-19: KGSG directs civil servants from GL 12 above to resume work »

Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has issued a directive to all Civil Servants from Salary Grade Level 12 and above in the Kogi State Civil Service to resume work fully with effect from Monday, 4th May, 2020

This directive was contained in a statement issued by the state head of service, Mrs Deborah Ogunmola earlier today in Lokoja the state capital.

The statement felicitated with Civil Servants in the State on the occasion of the celebration of the 2020 Workers Day, while urging the workforce to be more dedicated and contribute meaningfully
to the development of the State.

Earlier, Governor Bello, in a statement through his Chief Press Secretary, Onogwu Muhammed, assured workers that his administration will continue to prioritize their welfare. He said the government has put in place adequate measures to protect them from the Covid-19 disease, and urged everyone to follow the necessary precautionary guidelines advocated by WHO, NCDC and the state government to ensure healthy lifestyle.
