Eid el Fitr: Rashida Bello Preaches Peace, Love »

Kogi State First Lady and Founder Rashida Bello Foundation, Mrs Rashida Bello has expressed her best regards to the Muslim community across the state and the Country in general as Muslim faithful celebrate this year’s Eid el Fitr festival.

In a special Sallah message signed by her aide, Mr Victor Okee, Mrs Rashida Bello admonished the Muslim Ummah to continually exhibit the virtues of peace, love and service to humanity in their daily lives as exemplified by the holy month of Ramadan.

The First Lady whose core philosophy is anchored on service to humanity further enjoined Islamic faithfuls to also extend hands of fellowship and love to the less privileged and needy in the society.

Harping on the need for peaceful coexistence and good neighbourliness, Mrs Bello equally tasked the Muslim Community to always emulate the Holy Prophet Mohammed who lived as a shinning emblem of peace, love and sacrifice.

The First Lady in humble supplications prayed for; continued progress and Prosperity in the state and the Nation at large and for Almighty Allah to accept the prayers offered by the Muslim Ummah on this Special day.
