Eid – el – Kabir: Kogi NYCN Coordinators’ Forum felicitates with Muslims
The Coordinators Forum of Kogi State National Youth Council of Nigeria under the leadership of Comrade Umar Bako Clerk has felicitated with Muslims on the occasion of Eid – el – Kabir celebration.
A statement made available to the press by the Forum’s Director of Media and Publicity, Yabagi Mohammed quoted the Forum chairman of expressing joy on behalf of all Coordinators in 21 Local Government Areas of the state for the privilege of witnessing the day.
Comrade Clerk, who specifically used the opportunity to wish the state Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, his family and members of his cabinet a wonderful celebration, extended the same wishes to the entire Muslim Ummah across the state.
According to the statement, Muslims were enjoined to use the occasion to strengthen their sense of commitment, fear of God and sacrifice which the occasion symbolises.
It urged the youths of the state to celebrate in modesty, saying that beyond making merriment and extending good wishes to one another and their loved ones, they should also pray for the continued growth and development of Kogi State.
While further congratulating the Senior Special Assistants to the Governor on Security in the all Local Government Areas in the state on the occasion, the statement further appealed to them to continue to close ranks with the forum coordinators for societal progress.
Comrade Clerk expressed the preparedness of all Coordinators to work closely with all SSAs on Security in all the LGAs to ensure youth oriented programmes of the present administration were implemented to bring governance closer to the grassroots.
The forum used the occasion to express its determination to galvanise the youth across Kogi State to engender peace and tranquility at all times.
