A visit by our correspondent to a major ram markets in the metropolis on Thursday showed that there was large number of buyers in the markets.

Although few buyers that came to the market complained about the hike in price, but still were able to purchase because according to one of the buyers; there was enough money in circulation due to the recent payment of bulk salaries to civil servants in the state”.

They don’t ‘price’ too much, they just do transfer to us and when we receive alert, we give them the rams”. He said.

Mr Saliu Adama, a civil servant in Kogi State, said that the prices of rams were on the high side, but he still had to buy because God has blessed them this season. He appreciated Governor Yahaya Bello for making things easy for civil servants this period.
