Eid kabir: Governor Bello receives Kogi Central league of Imam, warns against sabotage of opposition campaign activities

Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello has warned his political supporters, particularly in Kogi Central against sabotaging the campaign activities of any of his oppositions in this period of elections, affirming that unity and peace should be the focus.

He made this known on Monday while addressing the delegation of Kogi Central league of Imam who paid him a courtesy visit in celebration of the Eid fitiri season.
The Governor charged the people of the State to show love to one another not withstanding their ethnic group or the religion which they belonged to affirming that we all serve one God and we all are equal in his sight.

Governor Bello pointed out that it was the will and desires of the almighty God for him to occupy the Governorship position of the State emphasizing it would only be God that could determine his second term in office.

He admonished the people to be patient with one another and also show love as such disposition breeds favour of the almighty.

Governor Bello pointed out that God has given the Ebira people this rare privilege of occupying the topmost leadership position in the state and such should be cherished.

He said that the Governorship seat was such that was desired by all persons in the State, but only God Almighty chooses whom he wants for the position.

The Governor canvassed against discrimination or separations, which he affirmed limits progress and development in any area.

In his remarks the President of the Kogi Central League of Imam, Alhaji Mohammed Zubair thanked the almighty God for such moment while he also commended the Governor for purposeful leadership.

He prayed that for more strength for the Governor and wished him success in his political endeavours.
