Eid: LUM lauds AEDC for improved power supply, encourages consumers to meet up responsibility

Leadership of Light Up Movement have commended the management and staff of Aedc, Kogi State region for adopting the recommendations given by the group which led to improved power supply during the just concluded Ramadan season.

In a Sallah message issued in Lokoja by the Chairman of Light Up Movement, Comrade Iliyasu Zakari, he described the step as a warm and bright ray of light representing a good and caring company that is attentive to the plight of it’s customers.

Iliyasu said the body is pleased that the meeting with Aedc General Manager, Engineer Mohammed Mutallib and his team in Lokoja last month where important issues were tabled bothering on improving power supply, prompt resolution of faults and balancing of supply to enable consumers gain maximum utility for light, especially during the Ramadan period to capture the Iftar and Sahur yielded positive outcomes.
He said that LUM and customers in Kogi acknowledged the improvements in power supply and response, hence the need to appreciate this feat and spur them to do more.

The Chairman said as partners, Light Up Movement have been in the fore agitating for improved service delivery by Aedc, while advocating to customers for prompt payment of bills and living up to other expectations.

While assuring the company of their continued cooperation, the Chairman called on customers to encourage the Aedc through prompt payment of bills and protecting power installations within their communities.
