Ex Commissioner Rates GYB/CEDO High, Says Bello Will Do Well As President
Prince Sani Ogu Salisu, the Immediate Past Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development in Kogi State has rated Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State and His Deputy, Chief Edward David Onoja high on their one Year Anniversary in office.
The duo took oath of office January 27th, 2020 as Governor and Deputy Governor during the Second Term Inauguration of the fourth Executive Governor of Kogi State.
While congratulating them, Prince Salisu noted that the successes recorded in the last one year was unprecedented while listing among other things, the renaming of the State owned University after its founder, Late Prince Abubakar Audu; Establishment of the Confluence State University of Technology Osara, Commencement of Kogi Reference Hospital, Okene, Operation Light Up Kogi East etc as legacy strides.
The former Commissioner also harped on the wisdom of the State Government in its fight against the COVID-19 pandemic as a legendary model in the country and urged Kogites not to have any despair in the ability of the New Direction Government to deliver its reelection slogan of doing more.
In addition, Prince Salisu declared that with the current performance of the Governor across the State’s Economic Sectors, He will do even better at the central Government and so, urged the people of the State in particular and Youths in general across the country to rally round him to lead the Nation in 2023.
It can be recalled that Prince Sani Ogu Salisu was the Chairman of the States Youth Leaders Forum of the defunct Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) and equally headed the Directorate of Youths Mobilization in the State’s Campaign Council in the last General Elections and has vowed to mobilize all his networks in solidarity for the Governor in the event he accepts to contest the 2023 Presidential Election.
