Foremost APC leader in Kogi State, Suleiman Baba Ali congratulates President Buhari, prays for better days in new tenure

Leading APC stakeholder in Kogi State, Hon Suleiman Baba Ali has congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari who began his second term as Nigerian leader today following his oath taking in Abuja.

A statement made available to pressmen in Lokoja by Comrade Yakubu Abubakar on behalf of the former Kogi State commissioner for health quoted him as wholeheartedly expressing joy that the next level Nigerians yearned for has finally commenced.

It noted as praying the agenda brought further socio-economic development to the citizens, noting that the president had shown commitment to improving the lives of common man in his first tenure.

Hon Baba Ali, who further expressed optimism about the capacity of President Buhari to build on the successes earlier recorded, enjoined Nigerians to pray for the president to succeed.

“The administration of Mr President in the last four years has brought succour to the welfare of the Nigerian people through various programmes including the total adoption of the Local Government autonomy, youth empowerment through the Social Investment Programme which has helped strengthen the growth of the country’s social welfare indicators, among others.

“The Government has no doubt restored the dignity of labour, honesty and transparency of citizens of our beloved country especially those in the diaspora, developed the patriotic zeal of ordinary Nigerians consequently making them proud of the country’s potentials and engendering patriotism.”

While also mentioning the attention that Capital projects have received across the country under President Buhari, Hon Baba Ali said the gesture has seen massive construction and rehabilitation of infrastructures across the country which in turn have raised the collective momentum that energizes ordinary Nigerians to have hope in the ‘Next Level Agenda’ of Mr. President.
