Gov. Bello attends 3-day fidau prayer of late Hon. Kokori

Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello on Monday was at the Abuja residence of Late Hon Abdul Suleiman Kokori on condolence and also attended the 3-day Firdaus’ prayers for the peaceful repose of the deceased soul. Governor Bello expressed deep shock and sadness over the death of Hon. Kokori, describing his passage as devastating and collosal loss for Kogi State while condoling members of the family of the deceased.

Bello urged the family to take solace from the exemplary and fulfilled life the deceased had lived as a devoted Muslim who practiced with the fear of Allah. He said Kokori was an astute politician and a community leader who had made great impacts and enormous contributions to the development of not only Ebiraland but entire Kogi State and Nigeria at large.

Kokori who was Federal Commissioner representing Kogi State at the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission died on Saturday, last week at the age of 62.
