Gov. Bello charges new couple to make God bedrock of their home
Kogi State governor, Yahaya Bello has urged the newly wedded family of Prince Ishaq Okolo and Rafiat Bint Muhammad to make God the foundation upon which their home would be built while admonishing them to avoid third-party interference in their matrimonial affairs.
The governor made this known on Saturday, 23rd July while attending the wedding reception of the new family in Anyigba.
Governor Bello opined that marriage was a journey between two individuals (Man and Woman) who have made up their minds to remain so irrespective of the challenges that they might encounter.
He urged the couple to however emulate the good lessons and virtues of marriage they have learnt from their parents, top of which he noted were patience, honesty and love for each other.
The governor who praised the leadership of the groom who is the Chairman of Dekina Local Government Area prayed for God to bless their marriage with children, protect the new couples from all forms of evil and grant them long life as a couple.
