Gov Bello Receives Atta Igala, Mr Onoja in Condolence

Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello on Thursday received in condolence, the President, Kogi State Traditional Council of Chiefs and the Attah Igala, HRM Michael Idakwo Ameh Oboni II at government house in Lokoja.

The royal father prayed for the peaceful repose of the soul of late Hajia Hauwau Oziohu Bello while also praying to God to grant the deceased family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. The Atta said death is inevitable noting that every living soul must have a taste of it. He urged the governor and members of Bello’s family to take solace in the fact that Mama lived a very fulfilled life on earth.

The Atta who was accompanied by his wife, Deaconess Juliana Ameh Oboni assured the governor that the people of Kogi State will continue to rally round him at all time in his effort to make the state great.

The governor also received the parents of his deputy, Mr and Mrs Onoja in condolence. Mr Ameh Onoja in his condolence message admonished the governor to remained steadfast that his mother lived a worthy life as she devoted her entire time in serving God and humanity until she was called by God.

In his response, Governor Yahaya Bello thanked the royal father and the parents of his deputy for finding time to pay a condolence visit on him over the passing of his mother. He disclosed that everything about his life was Devine. He said his late mother gave birth to him when no one expected her of being able to give birth because of her age. Governor Bello said his coming on board as governor of Kogi State in 2015 was also Devine noting that her late mother taught him all the good qualities he has demonstrated since his birth.

The Governor revealed that about 7 days ago when he and his deputy paid visit to his late mother, the mother prayed for them that The force, the spirit and bond that bind him and his deputy may not be broken and they shall continue to grow stronger and never to betray each other. He said at that point his mother was already preparing to leave.

The Governor said his late mother also admonish them to be patient and to equally be dogged and brave in pursuit of any noble cause.

He prayed for long live for the mother of his deputy Mrs Elizabeth Onoja (Iye Abu Che) .
