As friends, colleagues and dignitaries all over continue to troupe into Kogi State government house on a condolence visit to Governor Yahaya Bello over the death of his mother, Hajiya Hawawu Oziohu Bello, the Governor have tirelessly recounted the life of his late mother, his relationship with her and their last moments together.

One of such memories which he said would remain indelible was the prayers offered for himself and his Deputy, Chief Edward Onoja who everyone knows to be his Siamese twin brother because of the bond of love that exists between them.

The Governor made the revelation when the parents of Edward Onoja paid him a condolence visit on Thursday afternoon in Government House. He revealed that 7 days before the death of Mama, when Edward Onoja visited to say a prayer for her, the mother in turn prayed that the force, spirit and bond that binds him and his deputy shall not be broken and they shall continue to grow stronger and never to betray each other.

The Governor said his late mother also admonish them to be patient and to equally be dogged and brave in pursuit of any noble cause.

He said at that point his mother was already preparing to leave.

Governor Bello who described Edward Onoja as his confidante and a reliable pillar of support, said every mischief from its makers would only amount to efforts in futility as the bond shared between them was divine.

He prayed for longer life for the mother of his deputy Mrs Elizabeth Onoja.
