He noted that the state was a in a pitiful situation before their assumption of office, saying that everyone with the knowledge of developments in Kogi State before 2016 knew it was a failed state that needed rescuing.

Mr Omachoko was further quick to also applaud the present government for balancing the equation of government in terms of composition of the age and ethnic demographic to lead the state, adding that the government has given the youth their pride of place in the scheme of things.

The President took time to mention the completion of projects with direct bearings on the lives of the people including the Idah road which is close to being completed; the Ibana – Okpo – Ette road; Ankpa road, Governor Bello’s support during the building of Igala Unity House; efforts to bring electricity to Igalaland; massive appointment of Igala youth into government among others, and called on the all Igala sons and daughters to back the APC joint ticket of Gov Bello and Edward Onoja for November governorship poll.

Reacting, the Chief of Staff, Hon Edward Onoja said they came to government at a time God wanted to show His might and demonstrate He can do great things using those that are readmy and available.

He said Governor Bello allows him to operate freely as his Chief of Staff because of his commitment to changing the dynamics of government and governance and because he also has trust in him irrespective of the ethnic and religious differences.

Onoja therefore urged the people of the state to allow the present administration to continue with its progressive agenda for the state and support it in order to realise its dream of taking Kogi to the next level of development.
