Hon Bashir Gegu celebrates Sen Ogbeha at 73
Kogi State Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Engr Abubakar Bashir Muhammed (Bashir Gegu) has felicitated with elder statesman and former Senator, Tunde Ogbeha as he mark his 73rd birthday.
In a press statement he made available from his media office, the Commissioner described Senator Ogbeha as a man who has used his experience over the years in the service of the state and the country at large.
He said the state and the country needed more committed individuals in the mould of the celebrant who is a rallying point on issues that affect Kogi West, especially the Lokoja / Kogi (Kotonkarfe) axis where the Senator hails from.
The Commissioner prayed Almighty God to continue to grant Senator Ogbeha good health, strength, and enablement to continue to contribute to societal development.
“Kogi State is blessed to have someone like Senator Tunde Ogbeha as one of its citizens. He is a passionate man when it comes to issue of development of the state and I must commend him for having played his part in our efforts to improve it.
“It is my fervent prayer that Almighty God will bless and strengthen him in all ramifications so that he would continue to guide us that are the younger generation as we contribute our own quota to the development of the state.
“I wish him long life, prosperity, good health and all round success. Happy birthday sir.”
