It was a Great Joy in Biraidu District today 03/06/2024 as John Urah Flagoff Abocho ibobo-Emewe to Achigili Road

Residents of Biraidu District in Dekina local government area of Kogi State today burst in a jubilant mood as Hon John Urah, Dekina local government caretaker chairman, initiated the long-awaited grading of the Abocho ibobo-Emewe to Achigili road

The groundbreaking ceremony, marked by celebration and anticipation, symbolizes a significant step forward for the community’s ease of transporting goods and services to and fro.

The Abocho ibobo-Emewe to Achigili road has been a pressing issue for the villagers for years, with its deplorable state causing inconvenience and hindrance to movement of farm produce.

During the flag-off ceremony, Urah expressed his gratitude to God for the victory of APC, H.E Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Executive Governor of Kogi State at the Election petition Tribunal and to the community for their patience and support, emphasizing the importance of the road in fostering economic growth and social interaction between communities.

The Chairman urged the people to continue in their support for the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, assuring that the government will continue to bring dividends of democracy to the people at the grassroots

He used the opportunity to preach peace and harmony within the communities in Biraidu District as peace is the only possible way to progress and development.

Local residents, community heads including the Onu Abocho H.R.H Dr Jonah Okai ably Represented by the Obicha of Ogbabede, Onu Igbologwu of Emewe H.R H Dr Mathew Daikwo, Divisional Party Chairman Dekina LG Hon Yunusa Ishaq, Divisional Youth Leader Alhaji Suleiman Muhammed Dear Mopol, filled with hope and excitement, hailed the initiative by the Caretaker Chairman. Many expressed their gratitude to the governor, Usman Ododo, the Executive Governor Kogi and His Deputy Elder Comrd Joel Oyibo and The Caretaker Chairman Dekina LG Hon John Urah Ikani for prioritizing their needs and delivering on their campaign promises. They believe that the road will not only enhance transportation but also attract trade to surrounding communities..

The Community leaders and the residents in their large numbers prayed to God to give the Caretaker Chairman a long Life, more Opportunities, strength, wisdom and knowledge to serve the Good people of Dekina local Government and more..
