Hon. Monday Anyebe Congratulates APC Reps Candidates, Commends Peaceful Primaries

The Kogi State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Aridaojo Monday Anyebe, has congratulated candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who emerged victorious in the House of Representatives primary elections conducted across the state on Saturday.

Hon. Anyebe described the exercise as peaceful, transparent and credible, noting that the successful conduct of the primaries reflected the unity and strength of the party in Kogi State.

The Commissioner particularly commended the Governor of Kogi State, Ahmed Usman Ododo, for providing a conducive atmosphere that ensured the peaceful and transparent conduct of the primary elections across the state.

According to him, the orderly process witnessed during the exercise was a demonstration of the Governor’s commitment to internal democracy, fairness and the sustenance of peace within the party.

He also appreciated party leaders, stakeholders and members of the APC for their maturity, discipline and peaceful conduct throughout the exercise.

Hon. Anyebe urged party faithful to sustain the spirit of unity and sportsmanship as the party prepares for the forthcoming Senate, House of Assembly and Presidential primary elections.

He called on aspirants and their supporters to place the interest of the party above personal ambitions, stressing that unity remains critical to the continued success of the APC in Kogi State and across the country.

The Commissioner further expressed confidence that the APC would emerge stronger after the completion of all the primary elections, maintaining that the peaceful conduct witnessed during the House of Representatives primaries should serve as a model for subsequent exercises.
