A second night comes and the reality is beckoning than my illusion. What really happened? It’s an accident and the accident is where my emotions are tied.
We traveled through the hills and valley of Lokoja to Far away Ekiti State for the Camp Opening Ceremony of the Kogi State 2018 Batch C Corps Members camped in Ekiti State. While I doubled as the Kogi State Chairman of the NYSC Governing Board and Honorable Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, you were the Special Adviser to the Governor on Special Duties.
While we ab initio, met severally in Council, that was my first time of working closely with you and that memory is exactly what is hurting me right now. You had your way of coining “Omala Method” for any circumstance and the humor you make out of it is your surest bet to secondments. Alas, you couldn’t device an “Omala Method” for safety on this Horrible Friday/Saturday that will forever hurt those you’ve left behind.
Left to you, there would have surely been an “Omala Method” but everything happened just as it was planned in the highest heavens. Dieing in your prime is your prime achievement.
