INEC releases timetable for Nasarawa Central State Constituency Bye-Election »

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced a schedule of activities for the Nasarawa Central State House of Assembly by-election.

The electoral body fixed August 8th, 2020 for the election.

According to the schedule, notice of election is slated for 29th of this month, while 30th of June to 6th of July 2020 is for the conduct of primaries by political parties.

Last day for submission of forms EC9, EC9E and nomination forms at INEC headquarters is 7th July, 2020.

Also, 13th July has been set as the last day for publication of forms EC9 and list of nominated candidates. While 21st July is for submission of names and address of political party agents to the electoral officer.

August 6th marks the end of campaigns.
