Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu political apointees, legislators console late Tolulope Arotile’s family
Kogi Assembly members and appointees of Governor Yahaya Bello from Kabba Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency have consoled the family of Ijumu born Nigeria’s first ever female combat helicopter pilot.
The delegation which was led today, Wednesday July 15, 2020 by the member representing Ijumu constituency at the State House of Assembly, Olusola Kilani Olumu while addressing parents of the deceased said:
“We have come here today, as a team to condole with you. We are one and this pain is shared by all.”
“May God give you the wisdom to go about this loss,” he prayed.
The State Security Adviser, Navy Commodore Jerry Omodara (RTD) who introduced the delegation said it was not a speech making event, but to identify with the family of the deceased and share in their moment of grieve.
According to him, words would not be able to express the sorrow in the hearts of most Nigerians at this material point in time.
Prayers were later offered for the family by Commissioner for Education, Honorable Wemi Jones.
The delegation of the Governor, which would be led by his deputy, Chief Edward Onoja is expected any moment from the time of this report.
