Kogi Deputy Gov Condoles Family of First Nigerian Female Combat Pilot
Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Chief Edward Onoja has sent his condolences to the family of late Flying Officer Tolulope Arotile, who died due to complications from an unfortunate road mishap on the Kaduna Abuja highway after sustaining a head injury.
In a message through his Chief Press Secretary, Emmanuel Promise, the Deputy Governor said the 23 year old Arotile whom is a native of Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State died a hero who has contributed to the gallantry of the Nigerian Armed Forces, sending bandits to hell and inspiring the Girl-Child in Nigeria.
He describes her death as a great loss to the Nation and Kogi State, praying that God would console the family and the people of Kogi state for the great loss.
In his rendition to her, he discloses: ” I am consoled by the truth that life’s impact is not measured by number of days, but how well and impactful we lived the days alloted. You inspire me Omo Okun. Sun reee”.
