Kogi 2023: Ohere Meets With Coalition of Kogites in Diaspora, Solicit Votes for APC candidate, Ododo

The Senator Representing Kogi Central, Sen. Engr. Abubakar Ohere has met with the leadership and members of Kogites in Diaspora at Kaduna State to solicit and canvas votes for the APC gubernatorial candidate Alh. Ododo Ahmed Usman and his running mate Comr. Joel Salifu.

Sen. Ohere use the medium to also thank the entire of Kogi central in diaspora for their support and vote that gave him victory.

The Senator said he now has the privilege & honour to represent the good people of Kogi Central in the National Assembly, promising to use the opportunity to focus on two key areas, which are legislation, his primary primary function as a Senator and Empowerment, with emphasis on human capital development & infrastructural development.

Sen. Ohere used the opportunity to solicit the support & vote for the candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the forthcoming November governorship election in the state, Alhaji Ododo Usman and his running mate, Comr. Joel Salifu

The lawmaker who was represented by Professor Avadime, maintain that APC has made a right choice, adding that all that was needed is to prepare ahead of November to cast votes for Ododo.

He urged members of the Kogites in diaspora who are yet to transfer their voters card back to Kogi State to kindly do so as every votes count to enable the party’s candidate Ododo come out victorious. He also promise means of transportation for those who are willing to travel home to cast their vote.

In his speech, Prof. Avadime also use the medium to inform the people that, Sen. Ohere who was the first person to move motion in the 10th national assembly has promised to appoint 60 Legislative Aides across the 57 Wards in Kogi Central, also he has successfully moved 2 solid motions, and has also been selected into a adhoc committee on works. Prof. Avadime personally loud Sen. Ohere who was a first timer in the national assembly for his steadfastness, dedication and commitment to serve the his people adequate representation.

In his vote of thanks, Engr. Nda Muhammed Usman on behalf of the entire members of the coalition thanked all those who despite their tight schedule made it to the programme and urge us all to endeavor to win atleast ten persons with voters card for Ododo-APC. He congratulated Engr. Ohere for his commitment at the Senate and pleaded with him to remember Bassa LGA roads as well.

He finally maintain that, Alhaji Ododo shall be the first governor to sustain on the policy of the past administration as infrastructure and empowerment shall also be his watchwords.
