Kogi Assembly Speaker to sponsor 20 youths to NKFI

Responding to calls and appeals made by the Rector, Nigeria-Korea Friendship Institute on well spirited individuals to invest in Young persons within the state by enrolling them to attain a life-long professional certification in technical and vocational learning, the speaker Kogi State House of Assembly, RT.Hon Matthew Kolawole has pledged to sponsor 20 youths in that regards.

The information of his intention was made known directly to the Rector, Mr. Charles Williams Oluwatoyin while the speaker acknowledged that getting such high lucrative education would enhance the employability of any individual thereby reducing the high rate of unemployment surging in the society.

The Speaker who is also the All Progressives Congress’ flagbearer for Kabba-Bunnu/Ijumu House of Representatives at the 2023 general elections noted that his decision was hinged on his desire to add his quota to human capital development of young persons within the state adding that such gesture would remain consistent as much as possible within his capacity.

Reacting to this news, Mr. Charles commended the speaker for joining the list of well spirited individuals who were keen on empowering the youth in the most suitable way, noting that NKFI would seek to partner continually with his office in a bid to do more of such empowerment for as many individuals as possible.
