Kogi Basement Group Felicitates With Founder, Prince Okoliko As He Clocks 40
A Youth and Good Leadership Advocacy Group in Kogi State (Kogi Basement Group) has sent a hearty felicitation message to her Founder, Prince Opaluwa Okoliko as he marks his 40th birthday on Monday, June 28th this year .
The connvener of the Group Comrade Abdul Maristone while speaking to pressmen in Lokoja, Kogi State eulogized the leadership qualities of the Prince as a youth advocate and promoter of good governance in Kogi State in particular and Nigeria in general.
Comrade Abdullaahi explained that the young Prince from Aju Ameacho Royal Clan of Igala Kingdom has shown a good example to youths in leadership having participated in good governance and youth emancipation struggle at different stages and occasions. He stressed that Prince Okoliko a Masters Degree holder in English and Literary Studies rose from a position of Personnel Officer on Grade Level 8 at Ibaji Local Government Area, Onyedega in 2006. He then proceeded to a position of a Lecturer in General Studies (GNS- English Language) at Federal Polytechnic Idah. He moved to Afribank Nigeria Plc as an Executive Assistant in charge of Marketing and Credits in Keffi branch and to Diamond Bank Plc Akwanga Branch, Nasarawa State as a Banking Officer.
The young Prince became a Principal Customer Service Officer in Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria ( FAAN) Abuja, a position he held till 2017 when he was appointed A Senior Special Assistant on Federal Agencies Matters to Kogi State Govenor Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello. In 2020, after a sterling performance on the job, he was reappointed as a Senior Special Assistant on Federal Agencies still to His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello; a position he holds till now. He added that Okoliko to the best of his ability has done well in the area of youth employment and empowerment. He is an archetype of a vibrant leadership.
