Kogi COS commiserates with family of Inspector Okolo

The Chief of Staff to Kogi State Governor, Pharm. Abdulkareem Asuku Moh’d Jamiu on Thursday has sent his commiseration to the family of late Inspector Okolo Caleb.

The late police Inspector, who died on 24th February 2021 at a Specialist Hospital in Lokoja, where he was receiving treatment after a brief illness, was a police officer attached to the office of the Chief of Staff.

In a statement released by the Special Assistant to the Chief of Staff, Abubakar Yahaya Mujahid, Pharm. Asuku recalled the sterling virtues of the late Inspector, stating that he was an exceptional police officer who handled his duties professionally.

“The late Inspector Okolo is a fine gentleman, and a professional to the core who was very passionate about his duty to this nation.”

“On behalf of my family and staff, I condole with the entire police family, especially the Inspector General of Police and the immediate family of the Inspector Okolo, on this devastating development,” he said.

Pharm. Asuku prayed for the peaceful repose of his gentle soul and for God to grant those he left behind the fortitude to bear the loss.
