Kogi Signage Agency GM, Osaseyi joins Obangogo Day celebration
The Ancient town of Kabba was agog with activities and festivities on the 27th day of December, 2022 as sons and daughters of Okun land from all walks of life converged to celebrate the Annual Obangogo Day.
The first point of convergence was on the field of St. Augustine’s College, from where there was mass movement to the famous Obangogo mountain resort.
The Chairman of the Occasion, Honourable Richard Osaseyi joined hundreds of adventurers as they climbed the Obangogo hill to the top. He stated that It was indeed a thrilling experience for him as well as beneficial because it was a good form of exercise.
In his speech, Honourable Osaseyi commended the organizing committee of this year’s festival for their hard work, innovation and for a well-planned event. He stated that the Obangogo festival is a unifying factor as it brought people of different tribes and tongues together. He however charged everyone present to see the festival as a thing of pride to all sons and daughters of Okun land and not just the people of Kabba. He further stated that all hands should be on deck to make this famous festival grow to the point of bringing development to every part of Okun land as it has the potential to attract investors thereby turning it into a world class tourism centre.
Honourable Richard expressed profound gratitude to the people of Kabba for finding him worthy of such an honour to Chair this years’s festival and pledged his unwavering support and that of his Foundation for future events.
The Festival rounded off on the same day with a Gala/Awards night at the Johnny’s Events Centre, Kabba.
