The Kogi State Commissioner of Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Sarkin Yaki GYB, Sardauna Ganji of Gegu Beki Kingdom, Chief Dr. Engr. Abubakar Bashir Gegu has vowed to make meaningful impact on the lives of the people of Kogi Local Government.

The Commissioner who’s a lover of development and peace for the society says he will never rest on his oars every village, polling unit in Kogi Local Government feels the impact of GYB’S Administration.

The Commissioner made the pledge earlier today he took a tour to some polling units in his ancestral political Ward (Gegu Beki South), promised to bring to the door steps of the people the desire and dividends of democracy they have always sought to have.

The Commissioner in his usual magnanimity also approved a new facelift to the following dilapidated projects in the area.

He directed that the Police Divisional Headquarters, Gegu Beki should be renovated to GYB’s standard while he directed that the Achabo Motorized Borehole that was abandoned over the years be reactivated.

Similarly, the Commissioner directed that the Orehi Copper’s Lodge should be renovated to GYB’s standard, asked that a Generator for Manyare Community should be provided as source of electricity supply for their borehole as well as directed the Fencing of the grave yard in the area.

The Commissioner equally directed that a Generator be provided for Igbogo as a source of electricity supply for their borehole.

Hon. Bashir Gegu equally assured that every polling units across the Local Government will benefit the much desired dividends of democracy, described Gov. Yahaya Bello as a very humane and pragmatic leader who is ever ready to put smiles on the people’s face.

The beneficaries of the aforementioned projects as directed by the Commissioner praised Almighty Allah for giving them a humanitarian Governor through which the Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources who knows his onion was appointed.

The benefitting Communities showed praise on the Commissioner and Gov. Bello, prayed God to uplift them in many more rewarding ways in leadership positions.

The benefitting Communities assured of there unrelentless support for the APC and the New directions Government ably led by the youthful and resourceful Governor.
